2027 Miami-Dade Healthcare Preparedness Symposium

I am requesting approval to attend the 2027 Miami-Dade Healthcare Preparedness Symposium, taking place on April 27-29, 2027 in Miami, Florida. This program focuses on healthcare preparedness, coalition coordination, public health integration, operational readiness, and practical emergency management leadership.

Attendance will support operational planning, preparedness improvement, interagency coordination, and application of current healthcare emergency management practices. The symposium also provides direct access to presentations, resources, and regional networking opportunities that can be applied to our organization’s readiness efforts.

Requested support includes conference registration and, if approved, associated travel and lodging costs as required. I will share relevant materials and key takeaways with the team following the event.
